CompCompare began in Northern Ireland in 2024 with two goals: make suspicious competitions easier to identify, and understand which competitions offered better value.

As the original dedicated competition comparison site of this type, CompCompare grew from that Northern Ireland focus to cover the wider UK and Ireland competition market. Our public explorer currently focuses on competitions priced in pounds.

The aim remains simple: help you quickly compare what your entry money potentially offers. We bring prize values, entry prices, ticket sales and timing together, with clear labels where values are estimated.

A favourable score describes the competition data we can observe. It is not an endorsement of a provider, a guarantee of winning, or a finding about whether a competition is legitimate.
